About the author

Dr. Liberty Eberly is a board-certified psychiatrist and Clinical Advisor at Legion Health, where she supports clinical quality and helps ensure Legion’s educational content and care standards are reviewed through a licensed-clinician lens. She is a telepsychiatry entrepreneur and physician executive with deep experience building and leading clinical teams in community mental health, collaborative care models, and technology-enabled psychiatry programs.

Dr. Eberly co-founded InnovaTel Telepsychiatry and served as its Chief Medical Officer, helping expand access to psychiatric care for rural and underserved communities and supporting large, multi-state clinician teams. Clinical Focus Areas: Adult outpatient psychiatry, including comprehensive evaluation and medication management for: ADHD; anxiety disorders (e.g., GAD, panic disorder, social anxiety); depressive disorders (e.g., major depressive disorder, persistent depressive disorder); bipolar disorders; trauma- and stressor-related disorders (including PTSD); obsessive-compulsive and related disorders (including OCD); insomnia and sleep-related concerns; psychotic disorders (including schizophrenia spectrum conditions); substance use disorders (including alcohol and other substances); personality disorders; and higher-acuity safety/risk evaluations that can present in outpatient settings (e.g., suicidality/self-harm risk assessment, escalation planning). Dr. Eberly also has specialized training and interest in psychedelic-assisted therapy approaches (including ketamine, psilocybin, and MDMA modalities where clinically appropriate and legally permitted).
